The large, modern grain terminal is a high-tech complex for receiving, storing, processing, and transshipping grain crops. Equipped with automated systems, the terminal efficiently handles large volumes of products. The Kovel Porto grain terminal includes powerful silos, modern dryers, cleaning facilities, and loading elements. By using advanced monitoring and quality control technologies, the terminal ensures a seamless grain processing and storage process.
Ukraine is a major global grain producer, and this grain terminal plays a crucial role in the agricultural supply chain, connecting producers with consumers through efficient logistics solutions, including sea, rail, and road transportation. The terminal can store wheat, corn, barley, sunflower seeds, soybeans, and other agricultural products.
Grain Terminal Capacities
|
Daily grain transshipment capacity up to 3,000 tons |
Simultaneous grain storage capacity 25,000 tons |
Logistics and Infrastructure Solutions of the Terminal
The terminal's strategic location at the crossroads of the Tri-Seas route between the Adriatic, Baltic, and Black Seas, along with European and Ukrainian rail tracks (1520 mm and 1435 mm), and its proximity to the E37 highway, enables the use of all types of transport and grain transshipment schemes, including wagon-to-wagon, wagon-to-container, wagon-to-truck, and vice versa. Additionally, the terminal offers grain and grain product packaging into big bags.
Separate from the grain installations, there are areas available for storing, packaging, and transshipping mineral fertilizers and other bulk products.
The terminal's infrastructure includes an extensive road network, energy supply, gasification, water supply, and drainage. The territory is under video surveillance and physical security, with strict adherence to sanitary and fire safety standards.
